You’re invited to Trauma-Sensitive Practices for Healing Practitioners – a continuing education retreat with 21 experiential CE hours woven into the Camino itself.
Designed for massage therapists, bodyworkers, and healing professionals, this journey is open to anyone who feels called to walk, reset, and reconnect.
The week-long experience unfolds along the final 100 kilometers of the Camino de Santiago, with two route options – Spain or Portugal. Whether you’re here for CE credits or simply for nature, community, and meaningful travel, you are welcome.
Trauma-Sensitive Practices is a 21-hour continuing education course designed to help massage therapists create a safer, more attuned, and supportive environment for clients who may have experienced trauma.
All 21 CE hours are earned across two days of teaching on location, before the Camino walk begins, through applied somatic awareness, mindfulness, and embodied presence practices.
Participants will learn:
These practices help therapists work with greater clarity, integrity, and compassion. Non-practitioners are warmly welcome to join these sessions as tools for personal wellbeing – or to simply explore the beautiful towns of Spain and Portugal.
Included: Lodging, breakfasts, luggage transport, navigation and guidance, 21 CE credits (for practitioners), and group support.
Not included: Airfare and dinners.
